The Rev. Dr. Randy Hammer

Dr. Hammer has an inspirational list of career purposes.  He seeks to love God with all his heart, soul and mind, and to love others as he wants to be loved. He seeks to live a life of compassion, understanding and justice.  He also hopes to discover the universal truth found at the heart of all the great religious traditions, but which have found unique expression in the Judeo-Christian tradition, especially in the teachings of Jesus Christ.  He strives to work for universal sisterhood and brotherhood among all peoples of the world and affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person.


Rev. Hammer and his wife Mary Lou have two grown, and accomplished, children living in Mississippi and Brentwood, TN.  The family has enjoyed many years of traveling, and has managed to visit all 48 contiguous states of the country over the years, as well as various locations in Mexico and Canada.  Dr. Hammer has also traveled to Israel and Jordon.  His other hobbies include woodworking, furniture building carpentry, and studying to be a certified naturalist.
