2006 Yamaha CX5 Piano

In September of 2021, we celebrated Rev. Dr. Randy Hammer’s (Minister Emeritus) final Sunday by unveiling our new (to us) 2006 Yamaha CX5 grand piano. This piano was the result of a months-long search and fundraising campaign headed by the United Church Music Ministry. This piano energizes and uplifts listeners and worshippers in our traditional services and other events in our historic chapel.

The Yamaha CX5 piano is a semi-concert grand piano which is capable of leading a full house of singing congregants in a strident hymn or playing hushed melodies for mellow moments. This instrument impresses all who play it and hear it by its dynamic and musical qualities.
